St Peter's Parish
On Sunday our year 3 children made their First Holy Communion. They have prepared really well for the day and celebrated their special day together.
Today two members of our parish community came into school to tell us about the work they do for the church. We were very interested to hear why they do this and we were very impressed with their commitment. We asked them lots of questions and found out some of the things they like/dislike about their work.
Our Mini-Vinnies have been continuing to work hard to support the work of our SVP in the parish.
Every week they have been selling toast to raise money for charity. We agreed, this time, to give our £460 donation to HCPT. This is a charity which raises money to send disabled and disadvantaged children to Lourdes. John Kirby who does lots of work in the Parish collected the money on behalf of the charity.
We hope John has an amazing time in Lourdes this Easter and we hope our money will make a big difference to a child's life.
