AUTUMN TERM

Today we had an exciting visit from M6 Theatre Company, who performed ‘A Tiger’s Tale’. We were very excited to learn more about the true story of Fenella the tiger, who lived with a family of circus performers in nearby Holmfirth.

In Science today, we talked about how people have different sizes for some parts of their bodies, such as hands and feet. We talked about why this happens and then compared our foot sizes to create graphs.

Have a look at our lovely Religion display. The children created family trees and we talked about how all families are unique and special.

In today’s Maths lesson we practised counting on from different numbers in different ways.

Today in Maths we have been learning how we can represent values in different ways.

The children are settling well into Year One. Have a look at some of the things we’ve been getting up to over our first few days.
