The knowledge organiser is a single sheet of paper that lists the important facts - not practical skills - that the children should know by the end of a unit of work. We expect every child to learn all of this information over the course of the year. We will even use a fun task, quiz or activity to see how much the children have remembered we will send home a paper copy in advance, so that you know what your child is learning in school and can look at it with your child and talk to them about what they are learning.
It is also useful for children to go back to previous knowledge organisers and revise these so that the information from previous learning is not forgotten.
