AUTUMN TERM
Year 5 had a great time at Alkrington library working with Sammy Weaver, Rochdale's poet laureate.
She taught us that we can all be poets and inspired us all to write our own poems.
Sammy was very impressed with the creativity and enthusiasm displayed by the class.
She even took some photographs of the children's work to include in a new poetry collection.
Here we are learning about search engines in computing.
In English we are looking at how we can write cohesively.
