Year 6 PGL

After a smooth journey, we were happy to grab a bite to eat and get to explore our home for the next few days!

After settling into our rooms, we played some ball games before splitting into two groups - one for abseiling and one for the high trapeze! Some of us really pushed ourselves and overcame our fears to tackle the heights involved!

After a much needed rest, we then had our evening meal and ended the day with some wacky races!

A good day has been had by all and hopefully we’ll be ready for our early rise tomorrow so we can make the most of our day here!

This morning we had an early wake up call and some bleary eyes before breakfast!

After a few team games to help wake us up, we set off into our groups: half of us abseiling and half on the high trapeze! We have some real daredevils amongst us but the PGL staff are always on hand to make sure everyone is safe.

After a spot of shopping and some lunch, we were on to our afternoon sessions: raft building for some, giant swing and survivor skills for others. What a busy day!

Well hasn’t that gone quickly!

Another early rise for our final day and some packing to be done before we can head out on our activities. Our parents might be neat packers but things seem to have grown as getting them to fit back in our cases wasn’t quite so easy this time!

After breakfast, it was off for our final sessions - giant swing and survival skills for half of us, raft building and a refreshing morning dip for the rest.

Once we’d tired ourselves out, we were very ready for some hot showers and hot food before waving goodbye. As much as we’ll be sad to leave, we’re also looking forward to getting home to our families and comfy beds again!

We’ve had a great few days - challenged ourselves, learnt new skills and made some memories we’ll treasure forever.
