I hope it will give you an idea of what a wonderful school we have here and how proud we are of our staff and pupils. We pride ourselves on our warm and friendly atmosphere and hope that new parents and children will quickly feel part of our school family. There is much to celebrate at St Peter’s. Our school is a welcoming, happy school where children enjoy learning and everyone treats each other with the utmost respect.
As a Catholic school, our Christian values underpin everything we do. We strive to ensure that all our pupils know that they are loved and valued for their individual talents. We teach our children to be responsible and compassionate individuals and we offer our children the opportunity to develop a closer relationship with God, as they grow in faith as unique young people.
We actively encourage parents to become involved in their children’s education and we will continue to work hard to maintain first class relationships with you as we do with our Governors, Father Peter and Father Kevin (our Parish Priests) and all members of our wider Parish family. Our school is filled with talented and committed staff. Working together as a school family, we can ensure that children are both happy and successful.
Our website deals with many aspects of school life, but this does not prevent you from asking questions about any areas concerning the education of your child or anything else that concerns you during your time with us. This is especially so during periods of change and uncertainty. As headteacher, I am always able to make time to talk to parents, so please do not hesitate to ask.
