Hello and welcome to the Year 4 class page!
My name is Mrs Fletcher and I am the Year 4 class teacher for this year! We are extremely lucky to have Mrs Eaton and Mrs Millward in our class with us as our teaching assistants.
Throughout this page, we will keep you updated on everything we get up to in class and what our expectations are for the year ahead!

The multiplication tables check (MTC) is statutory for all year 4 pupils.
The purpose of the MTC is to determine whether pupils can recall their times tables fluently, which is essential for future success in mathematics. It will help schools to identify pupils who have not yet mastered their times tables, so that additional support can be provided.
In 2024, schools must administer the MTC to all eligible year 4 pupils between Monday 3 June and Friday 14 June.

Please can we remind you that we are a nut free school. Please do NOT send your child to school with anything that contains nuts, This includes products that say, 'May Contain Nuts'. Your child will not be able to eat any of these products on the school premises.
